Seven players have become the first women in Kilmarnock history to sign professional contracts with the club.
Kirsty O’Brien, Laura McLaughlin, Lisa Swanson, Monica Harty, Alex Middleton, Abby Robinson and Georgia Crooks have all penned historic deals with the SWPL2 side.
It comes as Jim Chapman returns for a second spell as women’s head coach.
“Hopefully we can achieve the desired success,” former Clyde manager Chapman told Killie TV.
“The resources the club are putting in deserve that [success]. It’s great to see the emergence of the women’s game overall. I’m really looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
