PA MediaBring me sunshine: A new artwork by Bristol creative Luke Jerram was revealed on Friday. Named Helios after the Greek god who personified the sun, it is his latest astronomical work and will go on tour to National Trust properties in 2025.

Queen of the NightOne moment in time: Queen of the Night, a tribute to Whitney Houston, was at the Hippodrome for one night only on Friday, treating the audience to some of her biggest hits. The show sold 100,00 tickets at venues like the Royal Albert Hall in 2024.
Bristol City Robins FoundationPreservation: Staff from Bristol City Women, Bristol City Robins Foundation and Nature Positive went to Ashton Vale Primary School this week to give pupils hands-on tips on how to enhance the natural environment around them.
OttomataLet there be light: We’ve been given a sneak preview of some of the attractions coming to the city as part of the Bristol Light Festival later this month, including a look at the interactive display called Tetra, designed in Canada. The event begins on 31 January.
St Monica TrustWinner: Jules Taylor, a porter at the St Monica Trust retirement village at Westbury Fields, has been celebrating a double victory. He took both the 2024 Middle Distance and Long Course titles for the over-60s at the Quadrathlon World Championships.
